Hello, thanks for taking this step toward wellness.
About Philip
I entered the social work field 9 years ago as a crisis counselor for adolescents and families who were struggling with interpersonal violence and family trauma. I also worked as a therapist for adult individuals at a community clinic to help them maneuver life with addiction and severe mental health issues. During that time, I began to see more migrant families as clients and eventually moved to Los Angeles to specialize in supporting survivors of labor and sex trafficking in their journey to find safety and stability.
Most recently, I was a director of emergency and long-term support programs for trafficking survivors at a local non-profit, where I could engage many dynamic clinical challenges with clients related to complex trauma and psychological and emotional wellness. Now, getting to work in private practice has been the perfect opportunity to work alongside clients as they explore both healing and self discovery at any life stage. I have a Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California.
